Delete your BudaPast account and data
You can delete your account yourself at any time, on this website or in the app. You do not need to contact us, and it works for guest accounts too.
Steps
1.
Open BudaPast on the device where you are signed in (or sign in here, in Settings).
2.
Open Settings with the menu button at the top right.
3.
Scroll to the bottom, choose “Delete account and data”, and confirm.
What is deleted
Immediately and permanently, on all devices: your account and sign-in details (email address, name, profile photo address), your progress (arrivals, quizzes, unlocked stories) and any open discovery session.
What is kept
Problem reports you sent are kept for up to 24 months, but are no longer linked to you. Our hosting provider's backups may hold deleted data for up to 180 days, and technical server logs expire after 30 days.
Can't use the app?
Write to us from your account's email address: contact.budapast@gmail.com. We will delete your data within one month.
